Global Manager Electrical Engineering & System Integration (all genders)

Your future tasks:

  • You are leading the Electrical Engineering & System Integration team providing electrical, operational and system engineering expertise to offshore wind farm projects across the globe.
  • You and your team are responsible for engineering solutions for the electrical systems in terms of LV, HV, HVAC/HVDC and grid connection for the offshore wind farm projects.
  • In addition, you and your team provide solutions for power to x as an alternative power transmission and support for the overall system integration and operational engineering for the offshore wind projects including wind farm, substation, grid connection and power to x technology.
  • You are responsible for developing and maintaining industry leading technical standards and a technology roadmap in the area of electrical engineering, system integration and operational engineering.
  • You are collaborating and liaising with cross-functional teams in the global organization to ensure alignment and continuously improvement and development of processes and tools to assist the team in handling their tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • As a people manager you are responsible for recruiting, coaching and onboarding people and secure personal development of your employees.
  • Another key focus is to ensure that skills and talents are used to their full potential and a positive work environment and experience is created within your area of responsibility.

Your profile:

  • You have a successfully completed engineering degree, preferably in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering and have several years of professional experience in offshore wind energy.
  • You bring solid experience in leading technical international teams across country boarders preferably in a strong matrix organization.
  • You are able to lead complex processes to a structured process control and maintain an overview even at a high work pace.
  • You have a passion for leadership and especially development of talented engineers.
  • Moreover, you have excellent business proficiency in the English language.
  • You enjoy and are interested in working in an international team, have strong communication skills, intercultural skills, team orientation and are willing to travel.
