Procurement Manager

Your future tasks:

Your team

You will join the Procurement and Supply Chain team which is a growing team within the Skyborn organsiation reporting into the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The team is spread across different countries from where it services all business areas globally. Skyborn is developing into one of the leading offshore companies worldwide and expanding its purchasing capabilities. In this context we are looking to strengthen the team.

Your position

  • Being an integral part of the procurement & supply chain team you will
  • Act as service provider to all different parts of the Yunlin project team with respect to procurement needs
  • Assess procurement needs, gather internal requirements & specifications to prepare and produce tender documents, identify appropriate suppliers
  • Run tenders, including negotiations, coordinate with relevant expert functions (legal, customs, insurance, tax, etc.) as appropriate to ensure adequate input and reviews
  • Manage finalisation of contracts and obtain all relevant internal approvals and signatures
  • Monitor contracts, provide contract management and follow up on invoicing where necessary
  • Resolve any queries or issues related to the contracts (internally: e.g. towards controlling, accounting, management; externally: towards suppliers)
  • Provide any required reporting

Your profile:

  • Degree in Business Management, Procurement & Supply Chain and/or relevant work experience.
  • You are structured in your approach, curious and willing to develop further in your career, you are a fast learner and able to adapt quickly
  • You are comfortable to work in a dynamic and demanding environment, able to meet tight deadlines and produce concise information
  • You have a mindset of a service provider and sparring partner to the organization
  • Your verbal and written English is fluent and you are proficient in Microsoft office tools
Your work location will be Taipei and occasional travel to the Yunlin project site may be required.
