Senior Manager Business Improvement (all genders)

Your future tasks:

Business Improvement lies within the Business Improvement and Strategic Projects department that supports Skyborn in key cross-functional strategic topics at Skyborn. Our department helps drive the company improve development, construction and operations of our offshore wind projects.

As Senior Manager Business Improvement based in Bremen or Hamburg you will:

• Support our Executive Committee in board preparations and decision matters as an active member of the team.
• Develop and implement goals and strategies for the Business Improvement area which is aligned with the departments and Skyborn’s strategy.
• Drive and ensure that strategic projects are effectively executed in line with standards and good practice.
• Ensure the department maintains a solid framework for prioritizing and executing strategic projects as well as the Skyborn Project Stage Gate Model.
• Guide, motivate, inspire and develop your team with a focus on performance management, personal and professional development as well as setting a clear direction for the department.
• Understand the business needs, prioritize initiatives and negotiate with stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous development of skills, competencies and process improvements within Skyborn.

Your profile:

• Proven work experience from a similar position in supporting and bringing improvements to a business in an international company, ideally within the renewable energy industry.
• Proven experience as a leader/people manager.
• Experience working on processes and governance, ideally with a solid knowledgebase about developing wind projects on- and/or offshore.
• Solid stakeholder management skills and an ability to build positive relations and handle stakeholders at all organizational levels in a multi-cultural matrix organization.
• Curious, self-motivated and focused on creating significant impact with great results with an ability to adapt to new/changing situations demonstrating innovative problem-solving skills.
• Business-minded and understanding of technical and process-related issues and opportunities as well as an ability to work with both highly technical and business-oriented leaders translating technical topics into value for the business.
• Great communication skills with proficiency in verbal and written English.
